We are all striving to achieve that glowy no-makeup makeup look and with the weather getting warmer, an effortless lightweight makeup routine is essential. I will be sharing elements of my own makeup routine to help others to access the same positive results that I have from these products.
The first and arguably most important part of a makeup routine is the skincare before the makeup. For this I have been using Weleda Skin Food, a thick moisturiser perfect for people with a more dry skin type like mine. This allows for my skin to be so moisturised which reduces some skin texture that foundations often stick to.

For foundation, use viral the E.L.F halo liquid glow filter. This TikTok sensation that is argued to be a dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter Foundation works so well in combination with the previously mentioned moisturiser. I would recommend not using much but just enough to spread a glow on your skin.

For bronzer/contour, I find that straying from powders allows for a much more flawless base and thus I would suggest the Glossier solar paint, this product is so easily blended out on the E.L.F foundation. It also has a shimmer in it which elevates the glowy base instead of washing it out.

When putting warmth back into your face, I hold the same importance of staying away from power products. Thus, using Glossier’s cloud paint where a little goes a long way is an amazing product in my opinion. I then find that using the Charlotte Tilbury beauty light wand in the shade pinkgasm as a highlighter works so well as they already have so much glow in them as thus increase the blush already blended in.

These are my holy grail products for a dewy base of makeup so if you are looking to make any changes to your makeup routine, here are my recommendations for an effortless look.
