We’ve all come to know and love a classic pair of denim jeans, an obvious staple in all wardrobes. However this can become a bit repetitive allowing for classic outfits to often teeter into being branded as basic. Therefore you could opt to elevate your outfit through incorporating a long denim skirt whilst still remaining timeless. If you are considering buying a long denim skirt or you already own one but are struggling on how to style it, below I have included some inspiration for integrating it within your pre existing wardrobe. All of these looks consist of simple tops and shoes and yet, the denim skirt manages to add a level of maturity and sophistication.

Many have conflicting opinions on longer denim skirts as they offer little structure and risk allowing for a shapeless outfit. However when styled as seen above with tighter tops the contrast accentuates the hips and waist whilst minimising the torso. Similarly, layering with a trendy bomber or racer jacket that is form fitting creates a really nice look.

Here are a few long denim skirts that I have found online and I am are a huge fan of. Any of these would work really with multiple outfits and they are have the duality which transfers the piece between summer and winter.
