With the obvious use of smartphones in our modern world, we are used to having everything at our fingertips. We have continuous access to weather forecasts, cameras and the time, therefore you can warrant the almost extinction of watches within young society. However, in eliminating them from our style a whole other world of accessories is untapped. In this post I will be highlighting how to integrate classy fashionable watches back into your everyday jewellery.

Dainty bracelets and simple jewellery have and always will be in style so carrying this over into your choice of watch retains a level of familiarity. I would recommend wearing gold for warmer skin tones and silver for cooler skin tones, as I found this to be the most complimentary, but don’t be afraid to mix and match. Also, just because you have added another jewellery item to your wrist doesn’t mean you have to remove those you already wear. Layering your wrist with other simple feminine bracelets, bangles and chains can provide you with an elevated expensive look.

The watch as seen above on the left is my own, I found this at a charity shop for only £5.99 so there’s no need get intimidated by the high end brands, instead you could search locally and sustainably. I have been inseparable from my watch ever since I bought it and now I prefer to check it for the time instead of my phone. I think this fashion statement also make you look more mature so can be carried over into work attire as well as everyday wear.
