Being away from home at university can be difficult, but surrounding yourself with a cosy environment to relax in is so rewarding. The mood board I put together when deciding the vibe of my space can be seen below. These pictures inspire a sense of calm chaos which was something I wanted to translate into my own uni room.

Something that I really enjoyed was including a photo collage walls of my favourite tv series, films, artists etc. I though that the imperfect aspect of them not matching up was a really nice look making it more personal. Including photos of things you enjoy is such an important thing to display in your uni room as it reminds you of home.

The 2 other important aspects I think a uni room must have is lighting and greenery. Including plants of different types whether that be real or fake, potted of hanging, adds a refreshing tone to your bedroom by connecting it with nature. It is also a nice touch to have multiple forms of lighting like fairy lights, salt lamps, sunset projectors. This is something I love about my uni room as it makes it feel cosy during the night when you don’t want to use the harsh over head lights.

I hope you feel inspired by this mood board!
