The Craze Of Digital Cameras

It’s no secret that in our society we love to document our lives. However, it is interesting that as Gen Z, we delight in the backward progression of the development of technology. Whether that be disposable cameras or polaroids, as a young generation we crave the nostalgic effects of images in which capturing the moment is a higher priority than capturing detail.

Having a digital camera places distance between you and the other apps you would find on your phone. Its sole purpose as a camera is to capture the moment thus allowing you to live in it so much more. They are also so small and can easily fit into your pocket or handbag on a night out and are a really fun add on for your evening. In my personal taste, I prefer a camera where the quality is not the best because I think that it has the nostalgic effect that everyone is searching for.

Here, you can see images taken on my own digital camera, a canon ixus 105 that I have owned for over 10 years. Converting images from a digital camera to smartphone is also so simple with a cable that I purchased from amazon for less than £10 you can upload them straight from the sd card to your mobile. This allows you to transport the digital camera aesthetic straight into your phone so the quality remains amazing and ready for you to post, send or save to wherever you wish.

I would highly recommend if you are looking to acquire a digital camera to purchase one that is second hand. There are so many good quality cameras for a reasonable price that dually are beneficial for the environment. However, if you are looking to buy a brand new digital camera here are some that I have researched and think would be worth the purchase.
