Following up from a blog post I published on May 12th providing ‘Formal Dress Inspiration For ‘It’ Girls’, it only seemed obligatory to also provide a complimentary blog post depicting formal makeup inspiration that would accompany those previously listed. The shift in fashion causing dresses to enter a more effortless era is also translated into the makeup looks that go alongside these gowns. Something I am really enjoying in recent beauty trends is the coordination between the colour of your eyeshadow and a colour you are wearing in your clothes. When applying this to the theme of formal makeup, you could include for example a blue waterline as seen below and coordinate it with a blue dress. This just elevates your look to another level and creates a sense of you being put together.
