A new aesthetic that has been rising in popularity in recent months is the coastal cowgirl aesthetic. This fashion sense can be summarised by a combination of costal granddaughter and boho chic. It is the perfect way to elevate your fashion sense and add something new to your style this summer. In this blog post I cover 6 fashion pieces that you should incorporate into your wardrobe in order to wear the costal cowgirl aesthetic perfectly.
The first pieces that should be added to your closet are white lace midi/maxi dresses and two piece sets. This delicate look perfectly encapsulates the femininity of this aesthetic and the flowy skirts are ideal for the hot weather. In addition to this, these pieces in white are so compliementary in the summertime when you are more tanned.

The next and most obvious part of this aesthetic is the cowboy boots. These are the main element of this vibe and are so comfy and casual that they can dress down or dress up any outfit. I particularly enjoy them in a brown colour as I think this is the most versatile, however if you are looking for more of a statement then I would recommend investing in a red pair.

Waistcoats are another fashion piece that has been becoming more popular recently and I think that they fit in really well with this aesthetic. Pictured below you can see the combination of waistcoat and cowboy boots which results in such a cool girl outfit. The denim waistcoats are my favourite and I think they look great when layered on top of a white shirt or top.

Another obvious element of this costal cowgirl aesthetic has to be the iconic cowboy hats. These hats look incredible when worn with a simple bikini for a day at the beach or just with any of the outfits mentioned above. I think that they are perfect for the beach when your hair is frizzy from the salt water which adds dimension to the look.

This fashion accessory is one that I have covered in a previous blog on ‘Statement Accessories To Elevate Your Outfits This Summer’ and I think is worth mentioning again in regards to this aesthetic. The chunky statement belts as seen below look insane when layered on top of delicate light outfits. This juxtaposition allows for such an elevated outfit that can be categorised as one that falls in the costal cowgirl aesthetic.

The last piece that I am including in this guide are knit/crochet jumpers. These coverups are great for beach days when worn on top of bikinis, with maxi skirts or with linen trousers. The aspect of the holes in them creates a more casual vibe and is something that can definitely be brought over into the costal granddaughter fashion sense.
